Mini Performance Group meets at the Pump Station

Mini gathering

The MINI Performance Group (MPG) is a special interest group of the Patroon Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America. Serving the Capital District area, MPG caters to the MINI owner interested in meets, events both driving and social, and general camaraderie. We meet the first Tuesday of every month (7:15) at the Pump Station to discuss what fun events are upcoming. Check the web site: mpgminis.com. Do you live in upstate New York or the surrounding area, and own a MINI, are thinking about owning one, or just want to be around people who own them? Great! Simply begin attending the monthly meetings and you’ll soon blend right in.

Beer Geek 101

ATTENDANCE GUARANTEED TO INCREASE BEER GEEK QUOTIENTS by a FACTOR OF THREE OR MORE!

We held our first-ever Brewers Discussion Panel on Wed. March 3rd 2010 from 7 – 8 p.m. It was be moderated by WAMC radio’s Joe Donahue and featured Olde Saratoga’s Paul McErlean, Ommegang’s Phil Leinhart and our brewer, George DePiro as the panel.

For those familiar with the format, this event is like the original Vox Pop Beer Show on WAMC, but with live audience members asking questions rather than call-in questions. Unlike Vox Pop, you will get to taste the beer we drink, too. A terrific event.
